FUEL SET view product
Q: Will Fuel Set void my engine warranty?
A: No - under Australian and other international laws for a manufacturer to void
warranty they must prove that Fuel Set caused damage. In any event we have world wide
product liability insurance of U.S.$20 million. In the seven years the product has been on
the market no one has claimed any damage caused.
Q: Will Fuel Set harm O2 sensors and catalytic converters?
A: No. Fuel Set will not harm any metallic components or engine components.
Q: How should I treat my fuel?
A: The ideal place to treat fuel is at storage tank level. Fuel Set should be added
prior to fuel delivery to enable sedimentary impurities to be dissolved. In individual
vehicles Fuel Set should be added prior to filling.
Q: What is the dose rate?
A: Normally 1 litre to 4000 litres of fuel. However if contamination is heavy
initial dose rate may need increasing.
Q: Can I overdose? A: No. It is not harmful to overdose but money is wasted.
Q: What happens to the water?
A: It is dissolved in the Fuel Set which in turn is absorbed into the fuel.
Q: How does Fuel Set affect emissions?
A: Fuel Set slows the burning process making it more efficient. The result is that
on combustion we get:
- Less CO (Carbon monoxide)
- More CO2(Carbon Dioxide)
- Less unburnt hydrocarbons (HC)
- Fuel is burnt efficiently
- Less particulates (smoke)
- Engines run efficiently
Q: Can Fuel Set be used in standby generators?
A: Yes, but by their nature the fuel sits untouched for long periods of time. To
enable Fuel Set to take up water it will be necessary to break the surface tension between
the water and fuel. This can be done by either stirring or adding more fuel.
Q: Does Fuel Set affect vanadium in fuel?
A: No.
Q: At what fuel temperature will Fuel Set become ineffective?
A: None.
Q: What effect will Fuel Set have in "salt water" contamination in fuel?
A: It will pick up water, generally salt will settle out and/or be left in filters.
Q: Does Fuel Set react with tetraethyl lead in fuel?
A: No.
Q: Does Fuel Set (&
water) have an effect on either the cetane or octane ratings of fuel?
A: No neither the cetane or octane ratings are affected by the addition of Fuel
Set.
Q: What affect does Fuel Set have on fuel?
A: The addition of Fuel Set (or water) will not affect either the viscosity or
specific gravity of the fuel to any degree because of the minimal quantities involved.
Fuel Set will affect the surface tension of the fuel due to the surfactants in Fuel Set.
This will not be a problem but be aware that if fuel is "swabbed" ie. in a
racing car the swab will detect that "an additive" has been used.
When Fuel Set and water
are present together in a tank of fuel the Fuel Set firstly dissolves the water because
Fuel Set is miscible with the fuel and the Fuel Set/water mix will spread evenly in the
fuel in particle size considerably less than a micron. Some of the water is broken down
into hydrogen and oxygen molecules, but these remain as free agents.
Fuel Set will not adversely affect engine oil.
Q: Does Fuel Set help overcome fuel storage problems?
A: Yes - It overcomes condensation related problems (bug etc)
- Stops storage tanks rusting.
Q: How can I tell if fuel is affected?
A: Check for the following:
Odour - "rotten egg" smell
Colour darker than normal
Evidence of biomass
Corrosion in tanks/fuel lines etc
Q: How does Fuel Set
react with sulphur?
A: It does not. It stops sulphur forming acids, because the water vapour necessary
to cause acid formation is absorbed by the Fuel Set.
Q: What preparations are
required before the use of Fuel Set?
A: None. However where heavy contamination and water are present it is wise to
syphon off contaminants as much as possible.
Q: Once my tank problem
is solved should I keep using Fuel Set?
A: Yes. Condensation will recommence causing contamination once usage of Fuel Set
is stopped. Fuel Set will provide financial gains in excess of its costs.
Q: What happens to the
Diesel Bug if I use Fuel Set?
A: The Diesel Bug (Cladisporium Resinae) has its environment destroyed by the
removal of water. In light infestations the bug will be dissolved by Fuel Set. In heavy
infestations the bug not dissolved will be transported to the fuel filters. It will be
necessary to monitor filters in the early stages of treatment where heavy infestations of
bug are present.
Q: Can Fuel Set overcome
problems of stale fuel?
A: In most instances Fuel Set will overcome problems caused by fuel ageing.

EXIT RUST view product
Q: Can you weld steel treated with Exit Rust?
A: It is difficult to weld rusty metal. After conversion with Exit Rust steel can
be welded very successfully.
Q: What happens after 8 months if you
dont paint the surface?
A: Dependant on conditions. Exit Rust is not a total answer. Users should overcoat
Exit Rust at their convenience. Beware if surplus Exit Rust is not removed tannic acid
will travel through the paint and leave "pepper" like spots on the paint.
Q: What does heat (exhaust pipes) do to it?
A: Exit Rust will convert rust when cold. If heat is excessive problem will recur.
Q: Can Exit Rust be applied under water?
A: No - but it can be applied to items that are to be submerged.
Q: How long after treating with Exit Rust
will the surface remain rust free?
A: Depends on weather conditions.
Q: How far can you go in diluting Exit Rust?
A: 50/50, but we prefer not further than 75/25. Care must be taken to ensure water
used for dilution is contaminate free.
Q: What is the minimum waiting period
before the surface can be worked after treating with Exit Rust?
A: When it turns blue/black. Between 1-24 hours dependant on weather conditions.
Q: When it is welded what is its maximum
strength compared to an original weld.
A: No difference.
Q: What is the freezing point of Exit
Rust? If frozen upon thawing does it affect the quality of the product?
A: The freeze point is -15OC. The product
reconstitutes when thawed.
Q: If a steel product has been treated
with Exit Rust and then is subjected to extreme heat do any toxic fumes come from Exit
Rust?
A: No.
Q: The Material Safety Data Sheet says
the flash point is 35OC, C.C: What does this mean?
A: Flash point is the temperature at which the vapour ignites in a closed cup
(C.C.) environment. Under the Australian Dangerous Goods Code which is modelled on
international standards, goods are exempt from classification if the fire point is greater
than the boiling point and for Exit Rust it is considerably higher. You can spray Exit
Rust through a flame and it will not burn.
Q: Can I use Exit Rust in temperatures
exceeding 30OC?
A: Use in high temperatures will not create problems. In fact humidity is a plus.
It may be necessary in dry heat to damp the surface down after an hour or two until
conversion is complete.

CORRO DIP

Q: Can CORRO DIP be used to clean radiators?
A: Yes, but caution is required, Corro Dip will attack zinc/aluminium compounds.
Use 1 litre per radiator. Run engine for a 5 hour period and then remove all liquid.
Should Corro Dip be left in the vehicle longer than 5 hours solder may be attacked.
Q: What effect will Corro Dip have on:
- Iron Laminations : None
- Cast Aluminium : All acids will affect
- Insulating Lacquer : None
- Plastic : None
- Copper : Minor over long period of time
- Solder : Minor over a long period of time
Q: How can I speed the action of Corro Dip?
A: Heating the water and /or causing it to circulate will accelerate its
effectiveness.
Q: Can spent liquid be put in drains?
A: Generally yes, unless "heavy" metals have been treated.
Q: Can Corro Dip be reused?
A: Yes - sediment should be strained off on a regular basis and fresh Corro Dip
added to base solution. Whilst Corro Dip will not last forever its effective life will be
extended.
Q: My Corro Dip solution has gone brown. Will it still work?
A: Yes, but you may need to add some fresh Corro Dip.
Q: How can I extend the "life"
of Corro Dip?
A: When not being used keep mixed solution away from air.

Q: Will Exit Grease work as quickly as others I have used?
A: No, because normal quick break degreasers contain solvents and as such are
environmentally unfriendly. We do not believe that it is possible to have an
environmentally friendly quick break degreaser.
Q: Is it advisable to brush the product
on heavy grease?
A: Yes, it helps with the penetration.
Q: Why do you have to leave for one
minute before washing off?
A: Once again it contains no solvents therefore takes longer to penetrate.
Q: Can I dilute it?
A: Yes, it can be diluted 50 : 1 for easier functions such as cleaning windows.
Q: May it be used in food preparation areas?
A: Yes as there is no perfume in Exit Grease and therefore will not taint the food.
Q: Is it suitable for boat decking?
A: Yes.
Q: Will it cause discolouration to
concrete flooring?
A: No.
Q: Will it effect automotive paint?

Q: Will it affect alloy wheel trims?
A: No, the product is excellent for all automotive cleaning.

Q: Are all coolants
compatible?
A: No. It is important not to mix coolants as this will chemically imbalance the radiator
and may cause it to run hot and boil.
Q: Can I top up with
water?
A: To maintain glycol levels from becoming corrosive, you should always top up with the
original brand of coolant, not water. If an emergency top up is required, top up with
water then replace with coolant as soon as possible.
Q: Are glycol coolants
environmentally safe?
A: Yes, they are bio-degradable. However, fluid that circulates through the cooling system
picks up heavy metals, which means local regulations for disposal should be adhered to.
Q: What is the
difference between Radiator Coolant and Radiator Inhibitor?
A: The majority of cars manufactured in the 1990's are now made of high-tech alloys and
need to contain an ethylene glycol Radiator Coolant rather than a Radiator Inhibitor,
which does not contain glycol. Master Flow contains ethylene glycol which prevents modern
engines from developing hot spots.
Q: Should I flush my
cooling system before adding Master Flow?
A: Yes. To remove all traces of other Coolants or Inhibitors, the cooling system should be
flushed thoroughly prior to adding Master Flow.
Q: Will Master Flow
affect my new vehicle warranty?
A: No. Master Flow meets international standards ASTM D1384 and ASTM D4340.

TRIBO PLUS view product
1. Oil Viscosity
For commonly used engine and gear oils, viscosity will not be detrimentally affected if
Tribo Plus Oil Antiwear Additive is used at recommended rates.
2. Sludge Formation
i)the use of Tribo Plus will reduce friction and hence oil temperature, thus prolonging
the oil life and reducing the formation of sludge.
ii)due to the affinity of Tribo Plus for the metal surfaces, it may loosen and displace
sludge that is already present in the engine.
3. Shelf Life
At least 12 months. Under normal storage conditions probably several years.
4. Affect on Seals
We have seen no evidence of detrimental effect on any seals, rubber or plastic components.
5. Glazing of Cylinders
As a general rule, to allow adequate bedding in of piston/cylinder bore required by engine
manufacturers, Tribo Plus is not recommended in new engines until the first oil change.
6. Lubricant Compatibility
We have found no incompatibility with commonly used lubricants, synthetic or otherwise.
7. Power Generation
Plants
We see no reason for Tribo Plus not to be used in this type of equipment. Because Tribo
Plus prolongs the life of lubricating oils, significant benefits may be obtained.
8. Reaction with metals
We have seen no evidence of detrimental effects on metal surface. However, due to the
possibility of unusual alloys being present, Tribo Plus should not be used in conflict
with engine manufacturers requirements. Where doubt exists, the user should conduct his
own trials for product suitability.
9. Corrosion
Tribo Plus contains a blend of corrosion inhibitors to retard the onset of corrosion of
metal surfaces. It is not classified as corrosive.
10. Exhaust Fumes
In normal well maintained engines, very little lubricating oil should be exhausted via the
combustion chambers. Since Tribo Plus is used at 6% v/v, insignificant quantities should
be present in exhaust fumes.
11. Manufacturers
Warranties
Tribo Plus should not be used in conflict with engine manufacturers warranty requirements.
Bear in mind that the largest proportion of an engines lifetime is outside the warranty
period.
12. Flash Point
The flash point of the oil will not be significantly altered at normal use rates. The
flash point of Tribo Plus is greater than 200 degrees Celsius.
13. Foaming
Tribo Plus will not cause foaming of the engine oil.
14. Oil Transportation
Force-fed, splash and bath lubrication will not be compromised by the addition of Tribo
Plus.
15. Thermal Stability
We have seen no evidence of deterioration of gear or engine oils from the use of Tribo
Plus. Since friction and oil temperature are reduced, oil life is prolonged.
16. Health Aspects.
Tribo Plus is not classified as hazardous. If large amounts are swallowed, nausea and
vomiting may result. It is a moderate eye irritant. Repeated or prolonged skin contact may
cause irritation.
17. Use rates
Generally 6% v/v in oils and 3% v/v in greases.
18. Low temperature
Separation
We have seen no evidence of separation of Tribo Plus from engine/gear oils at low
temperatures.
19. Bulk
Handling/Storage
Tribo Plus should be stored in a cool place and kept well sealed. It may be pumped using
conventional oil pumps.
20. Water
Emulsification
Tribo Plus is not soluble in water, and in use will not adversely affect oil-water
separation.
